DynaIP entity, WirelessWerx IP, geotracking patent found invalid

On March 26, 2026, the Central Reexamination Unit (CRU) entered a notice of intent to issue a reexamination certificate cancelling all challenged claims of U.S. Patent 7,317,927 owned by WirelessWerx IP LLC, an NPE and Dynamic IP Deals LLC entity. The '927 patent relates to location tracking and has been asserted in over 60 litigations against companies like Apple, Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, MapleBear, FedEx, DHL Express, and Life360.

Driving Innovation vehicle navigation patent prior art found

The team at Unified used Pearl to successfully identify and chart prior art against U.S. Patent 7,003,288, asserted by Driving Innovation LLC, an NPE. The ‘288 patent relates to a location-based information delivery system for mobile terminals, especially for users in motion. The patent has been asserted against Toyota.

On March 26, 2026, the Federal Circuit's written opinion affirmed the PTAB’s decision in IPR2023-00029, challenging claims 1 and 14-17 of U.S. Patent 6,965,920. Owned and asserted by Peter Henrik Pedersen, believed to be associated with AiPi Solutions, the '920 patent is generally directed to the specification and management of how messages are distributed to recipients. The ’920 patent was asserted against several including Zoho Corp., Ziff Davis, Intuit, Salesforce, Blackbaud, Constant Contact, Monday.com, Zendesk, Aurea Software, Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Oracle, Adobe, Wix.com, and others.
