The patents relate to optical networking and have been asserted against Nokia.

The team at Unified IP Services used Pearl to successfully identify and chart prior art against U.S. Patent 7,209,959, owned by DataCloud Technologies, LLC, an NPE and entity of IP Investments Group. The ‘959 patent relates to a method, apparatus, and system for anonymous network communication through an ad hoc virtual domain. The patent has been asserted against several but recently against Staples, Autel Robotics, Alteryx, VOXX, Advance Local Media, Aptiv, ServiceNow, Moodys Analytics, and Vivian Health.

The team at Unified IP Services used Pearl to successfully identify and chart prior art against U.S. Patent 9,760,753, owned by United States CP, LLC, an NPE. The ‘753 patent relates to a finger guide device intended for securing precise placement of a digit on a scanner to capture fingerprints accurately. The patent has been asserted against Samsung and their Galaxy-series smartphones and tablets that incorporate capacitive fingerprint scanners for identity authentication and confirmation.

The team at Unified IP Services used Pearl to successfully identify and chart prior art against U.S. Patent 8,019,169, owned by Sovereign Peak Ventures LLC, an NPE and entity of Dominion Harbor Group. The ‘169 patent is generally related to an image coding apparatus and method that enhances coding efficiency by employing a similarity-based approach to image compression. The patent has recently been asserted against Arashi Vision but has been asserted in the past against NXP Semiconductors, HP, ASUSTeK Computer, Acer, Hisense, and TCL Group.
