Unified Patents added a new PATROLL contest, with a $2,000 cash prize, seeking prior art on at least claim 1 of U.S. Patent 9,275,982, owned and asserted by Mare Infinitus Technologies LLC, an NPE and entity of IPValuation Partners, LLC. The '982 patent relates to semiconductor package structures and methods for forming interconnects between stacked semiconductor devices. It has been asserted against Samsung.

The ‘715 patent relates to a data storage device—especially an SSD—that uses configurable, policy-based handling of data rather than fixed manufacturer-set behavior. It has been asserted against Samsung and Meta.
