Unified Patents added a new PATROLL contest, with a $2,000 cash prize, seeking prior art on at least claim 1 of U.S. Patent 8,842,454, owned and asserted by GridScale Solutions, LLC, an NPE and entity of PowerBridge Networks, LLC. The '454 patent relates to a distributed photovoltaic inverter architecture. It describes many small inverters, each connected to a respective DC source such as a PV cell or cell group, that collectively supply AC power to a load or grid.

Submitted invalidity charts must address every limitation of the challenged claim. This may require using more than one prior art reference.
