The team at Unified IP Services used Pearl to successfully identify and chart prior art against U.S. Patent 8,825,867 and U.S. Patent 8,401,028, owned by NovaCloud Licensing LLC, an NPE. The ‘867 patent generally relates to a multi-level packet distribution system designed to efficiently distribute packet flows among servers while maintaining the flow's continuity (stickiness) to specific servers. The ‘028 patent focuses on a method and system for the dynamic selection of network nodes to optimize service delivery.

The ‘867 patent has been asserted against Microsoft and Amazon. The ‘028 patent has been asserted against Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, and Meta.
