The ‘272 patent generates synthetic images, depth information, and optical flow data by assembling virtual objects into scenes and capturing them from realistic perspectives, defined by specific camera settings. It has been asserted against Osaro, Parallel Domain, CERES AI, MVision AI, Topaz Labs, Elementary Robotics, and Geisel Software.
