On March 24, 2022, Unified Patents added a new PATROLL contest, with a $2,000 cash prize, seeking prior art on at least claim 1 of U.S. Patent 9,092,428, owned by Linfo IP LLC, an NPE and subsidiary of Dynamic IP Deals, LLC. The '428 patent generally relates to a user interface for discovering and presenting information in text content with different view formats, including steps of identifying the grammatical, semantic, contextual, and topical attributes of the words or phrases in the text content, The patent has been asserted against many including Home Depot, Sears, Costco, and Lowes.
