Two AX Wireless Wi-Fi patents challenged

On February 26, 2026, Unified filed two ex parte reexamination proceedings against U.S. Patent 10,917,272 and U.S. Patent 11,777,776, owned by AX Wireless, LLC, an NPE and entity of IdeaHub. Both patents generally relate to header field configurations (e.g., header repetition) in Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) communication systems (802.11n). The patents have been asserted against Sony, TP Link, Ubiquiti, D-Link, Vantiva, and ASUSTek. These filings are part of Unified’s ongoing efforts in the SEP Wi-Fi Zone.

$2,000 awarded for Mov-Ology electronic forms patent prior art

Unified is pleased to announce PATROLL crowdsourcing contest winners, Nisha Devi, Ekta Aswal, SP Ragupathy, and Umesh Sharma, who shared an award of $2,000 for their prior art submissions on U.S. Patent 9,286,282, owned and asserted by Mov-Ology, LLC, an NPE. The patent relates to methods to retrieve data from partially completed electronic forms and use the retrieved data to identify the consumer who accessed the electronic form. The patent has been asserted against Oracle, BigCommerce, Temenos AG, Formisimo, and Mouseflow ApS.

We would also like to thank the dozens of other high-quality submissions that were made on this patent. $4,000 for Radiant Patents optical patents prior art

Unified Patents added two new PATROLL contests, each with a $2,000 cash prize, seeking prior art on the list below. The patents are owned by Radiant Patents LLC (f/k/a PLS XLIV LLC), an NPE and entity of MVRE LLC. The patents are currently asserted against Nokia.

The contests will expire on September 30, 2025. Please visit PATROLL for more information and to submit an entry for these contests. PATROLL researchers are required to use Pearl to generate claim charts. Submitted invalidity charts must address every limitation of the challenged claim. The team at Unified IP Services is using Pearl to identify and chart prior art against a patent owned by Wolverine Barcode IP LLC, an NPE and entity of Pueblo Nuevo LLC. Unified Patents, the top requester of ex parte reexaminations in recent years, will likely challenge its validity. The patent generally relates to a system for offline electronic commerce transactions utilizing a User ID Barcode for purchasing goods without needing physical cards or PINs. Wolverine Barcode has sued several including The Kroger Company, 7-Eleven, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Walgreens, Jamba Juice, Sam’s West, Chipotle, Macy’s, and Albertsons Companies.
