Four more Bunker Hill EV patents prior art found

Unified Patents, through its subsidiary Unified IP Services, plans to release charted prior art on Bunker Hill patents weekly until its assertion of invalid patents ceases. With the four patents below, Unified IP Services have released eight total charts within the last few weeks.

Unified’s IP Services using Pearl successfully identified and charted prior art against patents owned by Bunker Hill, an NPE and entity of Dominion Harbor Enterprises. U.S. Patent 7,446,797 generally focuses on a surveillance system optimization method based on user-defined environmental characterizations. U.S. Patent 9,809,121 generally focuses on charging and power management involving a bi-directional buck/boost converter connected to a battery. U.S. Patent 7,723,932 generally outlines a propulsion system for vehicles. U.S. Patent 7,960,857 generally pertains to a vehicle-based uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system.

The prior art was found and charted by Alejandro Borge & Oscar Arguello of Unified IP Services and Elaine Chow of Unified Patents.

Quick Vault encryption patent campaign - invalidity charts coming soon

The team at Unified IP Services is using Pearl to identify and chart prior art against U.S. Patent 12,363,134, owned by Quick Vault, Inc. (d/b/a CloudVault). The ‘134 patent generally outlines a method and system for forensic data tracking, aiming to improve how data is protected and monitored as it is transferred between authorized and unauthorized users and devices. The patent is currently asserted against Musarubra US LLC.

Morris Routing network patent found invalid

On December 9, 2025, the Central Reexamination Unit (CRU) entered a notice of intent to issue a reexamination certificate cancelling all challenged claims of U.S. Patent 12,058,042, owned and asserted by Morris Routing Technologies, LLC, an NPE. The ‘042 patent relates to path-based data routing in a network. It was asserted against Verizon, Samsung, T-Mobile, and AT&T.

Mimzi voice interaction patent challenge instituted

On December 4, 2025, five weeks after Unified filed an ex parte reexamination, the Central Reexamination Unit (CRU) granted Unified’s request, finding substantial new questions of patentability on the challenged claims of U.S. Patent 9,792,361, owned and asserted by Mimzi, LLC, an NPE. The ’361 patent relates to using a phone to record phone calls, meetings, and dictation, and to store associated metadata, audio, and/or speech-recognized text in a centralized, content-searchable repository. It has been asserted against Nissan, Ford, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz AG, Honda, and Subaru.

Control Sync Systems Display Patent Campaign — Invalidity Charts Coming Soon

The team at Unified IP Services is using Pearl to identify and chart prior art against U.S. Patent 7,812,889, owned by Control Sync Systems LLC, an NPE and entity of Leigh M. Rothschild. The ‘889 patent generally relates to a control system aimed at synchronizing video and audio parameters across display and play devices. The patent is currently asserted against Sony, LG, Vizio, TTE Technology, and E&S International Enterprises.
