DynaIP entity WirelessWerx IP geofencing patent challenged

On July 22, 2025, Unified Patents filed an ex parte reexamination proceeding against U.S. Patent 7,323,982, owned by WirelessWerx IP LLC, an NPE and Dynamic IP Deals LLC entity. The ‘982 patent directed to tracking and managing wireless devices using geofencing techniques. It is currently asserted against Verizon, Zebra Technologies, Audi, Tesla, Hyundai, among others.

Dynamic IP Deals entity, AK Meeting, groupware patent challenged

On April 17, 2025, Unified Patents filed an ex parte reexamination proceeding against U.S. Patent 10,180,765, owned and asserted by AK Meeting, an NPE and Dynamic IP Deals entity. The ‘765 patent relates to computer-supported cooperative work, also known as groupware, and has been asserted against Adobe.

DynaIP entity, Err Content, media casting patent challenge instituted

On January 28, 2025, one month after Unified filed an ex parte reexamination, the Central Reexamination Unit (CRU) granted Unified’s request, finding substantial new questions of patentability on all challenged claims of U.S. Patent 10,721,542, owned and asserted by Err Content IP LLC, an NPE and entity of Pueblo Nuevo/DynaIP. The '542 patent generally relates to providing main content and extra content to a user through a reference item. It has been asserted against Panasonic, Hisense, Spotify, Roku, Comcast, LG Electronics, and Amazon

Third DynaIP entity, Cloud Systems, IoT patent challenge instituted

On September 20, 2024, five weeks after Unified filed an ex parte reexamination, the Central Reexamination Unit (CRU) granted Unified’s request, finding substantial new questions of patentability on the challenged claims of U.S. Patent 7,975,051, owned and asserted by Cloud Systems HoldCo IP, LLC, an NPE and DynaIP entity.  The '051 patent relates to a system for controlling and configuring devices through a server. It had been asserted against Carrier, Google, Onity, Samsung, Vivint, and ADT, with current pending cases against Comcast, Kramer, Monitronics, and Ring.
