On June 29, 2015 Unified Patents (Unified) filed an Inter Parts Review (I PR) against patent owner Trans Video Electronics, Ltd (T V E) in order to protect Content Delivery technologies from invalid NPE assertions. T V E claims its patent covers the on-demand delivery of content over a network. T V E has filed 10 cases against Content Delivery companies between 2012 and 2013. Unified independently filed its I PR challenging claims 1-14 of U.S. Pat. No 5,594,936. A copy of the filing can be found below:
