On September 7, 2022, a new PATROLL contest, with a $2,000 cash prize, was added seeking prior art on U.S. Patent 6,696,957, owned by Healthness, LLC, an NPE and Jeffrey M. Gross entity. The ‘957 patent generally relates a system and method for remotely ascertaining movement or non-movement of an individual in order to determine a possible emergency condition. The patent is being asserted against Oura, Adidas, Under Armour, and Garmin.
